A Life-Gate program for women survivors of sexual abuse. We also incorporate audio-video material into our program. In an environment of love, acceptance and confidentiality, participants will begin to develop new strategies for living, and find healing from the struggles of life. It brings women out of emotional isolation and addresses the life struggles they face. This powerful program will be running for appr. six months on a weekly basis in a family like atmosphere. Ps. Julie is heading up the facilitators with many years of experience.
Some of our programs are weekly seminars (on DVD) followed by support groups for the community. Targeted are persons who find it hard to cope with life- problems like Divorce, Grief, Addiction, etc.
Each weekly Session consists of two distinct elements:
1. DVD-Seminar of about 35 minutes, produced in an interesting television magazine format on a large screen in the new auditorium of Life-Gate. Each participant will be equipped with a workbook to enhance healing.
2. Support Group, encouraging discussion of the DVD presentation as well as having the opportunity to share their needs and hurts for group support. The weekly support group session is designed to help assisting the person in becoming whole again. Trained facilitators will assist people in sharing their feelings and experiences.
